Prayer for our Church and Priest

Lord, watch over your church and its father.
Calm his heart and strengthen his mind with peace and courage.
My dearest mother, Mary, intercede for your beloved son as he leads your Son's church
And within your house, Lord, grant your children the desire for peace and for your will to be done.
Erase from their hearts,
Worldly desires,
And hold fast their tongues from ever speaking against your child, or your will.
My mother, watch over us and teach us to love each other as you love us.
May our hearts break before we hurt one another,
May our voices stall before we speak ill of another.
Teach us to love, Lord, and to desire and listen for your will before our own.
Amen.
